CARGO PRE SHIPMENT
The Pre-Shipment inspection is a procedure requested by both sides of the sale process (exporters and importers of goods), in order to guarantee the quantity and quality of the merchandise or goods that are been traded, in accordance with the contract specifications.
The inspection should be performed before the products have been exported to the country or destination of the consignee. We at IBS Cargo & Quality focus our inspection on three key factors:
The effective package and labeling of the products
The condition of the container where the merchandise will be stowage.
The adequate transport system according to the characteristics of the product or merchandise.
We act in a preventive way, in order to minimized claims. Therefore, our inspections consists of four (4) steps to verify every detail:
Preliminary: In which we identity the container and establish the details of the inspection.
Conditions: In which we evaluate the conditions of the product or merchandise before those products are fitted in the container.
Main: Where the conditions as the product or merchandise is located in the container is determined.
Conclusions: Where the quantities and times of the inspection are settled and noted, and the recommendations brought out.
After all the steps are completed a report is prepared with all of the information taken, including at least six (6) pictures of the process.
Our objective is to prevent any damages of the merchandise or products due to any cause during the Pre-Shipment process, in order to correct it and reduce any possible conflicts between the exporter and the consignee.
